I posted about this many months ago and was never able to get it resolved. Out of the blue I started having problems with missing channels. I can exit PTVL and restart it and the missing channels will show but other channels missing. I have tried removing and reinstalling PTVL with no luck All my channels are videos on my network. No internet channels. I've consulted the FAQ thread and background mode is not enabled, it's not a watched/unwatched issue or nothing meeting channel criteria. This is also evidenced by the fact that the missing channel(s) will appear and subsequent restarts. Sometimes there are 20 or more channels missing and it is really affecting the usability.
I don;t see anyone else with this problem so I get that it may be something on my end but I can't fathom what. Here is my log (in this instance channels 15, 46 and 47 are missing):
